The big difference here is that Gintama always has done amazing ratings and DVD sales, and the only reason it ended was lack of material. For Bleach, its DVD sales have gone down 500% from its peak, and it was struggling to outdo late night anime TV ratings in its final 6 months. Theres absolutely no reason to bring it back anytime soon. Maybe as a late night series for the final arc down the line. |

Shame. I liked Sket Dance more than Gintama. Hopefully it comes back on Gintama's next break |

It would be good if Sket Dance and Gintama alternated, each getting half a year at a time or something. No/minimal filler is always nice.

Gintama is overall better then Sket Dance. Sket Dance has some really great episodes, but it has a lot of really boring one too. Quality of them varies too much. Gintama on other hand offers pretty stable level of humor with some peaks. In this case student isnt good enough to beat his master. |

As much as I'll miss SKET DANCE it seemed to have lost its way in recent episodes but maybe it can return also.
Gin'tama - can't believe I'm just now hearing about its return - but Yay! Shinpachi and Kagura....and maybe some Kamui action?? Oh I'm happy for the Fall season now. |
