These games are gonna be AMAZING. I've already preordered Black 2, and have every intention of getting Genesect.

I just know I'm going to have a real blast playing Pokemon Black and White 2! Very Happy Plenty of new areas to explore!

Well here's a question that I still haven't found the answer to. Will Genesect be for Black/White, or Black2/White2?

I do believe Genesect is for 2. The current Keldeo promo is for 1, and it goes until the day before 2 come out.

Anyway, I stopped by Gamestop today to pay the rest of my game so when it comes out, no pesky paying, I can just pick it up and go! I also grabbed a Keldeo poster, when I got Keldeo, I was more or less in parking lot, didn't know they had small Keldeo posters inside, yay!

Yeah, this is definitely my most anticipated game of the year! And battling old leaders? I just about had a nerdgasm. Oh and then Digimon comes out on DVD like two days later, but I might get it earlier (you know TRSI), which will create the dilemma of if I can both watch Digimon and play new Pokemon at the same time without my nostalgia high causing my brain to explode.

So, will this be the "official games" canon wise? Like how Blue, Crystal, Platinum and Emerald are?

Also, fail for no R/S/E remakes.

BW2 are litteral sequils to the original BW, set a couple of years from that story - so they are all 'canon'.

And doing something new instead of a remake is hardly a fail - I'd rather see RSE on the 3DS, really.

Fail? Well, I can't say anything about the future, but all the "remake" games so far have been announced AFTER the third game in each generation, so it's not out of the park yet.

And these games' stories are sequels to the first BW games, so play the others first. These stories take place 2 years later, and though they can be interchangeable (you can play White and then Black 2 and still understand what's going on), there will be one minor inconsistency if you don't play the direct sequel to the color you have.
