The best part of the part of the first CD was Tomokazu Sugita. He doesn't get to come back, but Kouichi Yamadera gets to sing TWO songs. Isn't Yamadera busy getting ready for his wedding?

At first I saw "Akira Ishida" and I went, "Wait, what??", until I saw it wasn't a song, just talking from the looks of it. Glad he could make it on there in some way!
Hiro Shimono, Hiroshi Kamiya, and Kouichi Yamadera all singing on the same album? <3 From the snippets, they didn't sound bad, either. I still haven't even picked up the first one, though! |

Kouichi Yamadera has dubbed and voiced a lot of Disney characters in Japanese: Donald Duck, Beast, Stitch, Genie, Sebastian, Dale, etc.
Yamadera's Donald Duck sounds like Donald Duck speaking Japanese. And his Donald Duck in Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts RPG series is the original language version, not a dub version. |

Gah~ Takahiro Sakurai.
They sure are targeting a fujoshi market with this damn cd, aren't they? |

Kouichi Yamadera's rendition of Circle of Life was probably the best on the last CD so I am glad he is getting extra songs.
Sugita Tomokazu was excellent (the song they picked for him was perfect, One Jump Ahead) so I am sorry he isn't included this time. Also glad Sakurai Takahiro, Seki Tomokazu, and Kamiya Hiroshi are included again (although that is bias speaking bc they are favorites of mine) From the website it looks like there are 2 CDs with even more songs. edit: I also don't get what Sakurai Takahiro being on the CD means it is aimed at Fujoshi? That makes no sense. Yes it is obviously aimed at female fans but so what? |

Sakurai Takahiro was in a separate paragraph from the other statement. In general with these particular male voice actors famous for playing various popular characters shows and video games, they're to me targeting fujoshi. You're reading into stuff too much. And it was an observation, and you don't need to get defensive. The fact that we (I'm assuming) are on a forum for anime and happen to be female make us all fujoshi to a degree. |

Seki singing You'll be in my heart kinda reminds me of hearing Masayuki Sakamoto of V8 singing that song for the Japanese version of Tarzan. I attach the link for anyone that want to hear that one.

I see the first CD, Disney Date has "When You Wish Upon a Star" sung by Takahiro Sakurai. But there was already another anime seiyuu version of that song, "Hoshi ni Inoreba", sung by Michie Tomizawa as Rei Hino/Sailor Mars on the second Sailor Moon Christmas album, Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Merry Christmas.
