I was just wondering if anyone has/has played this game. I was planning on picking it up, but I wanted to know how it was. I know it's pretty short (about 12 levels), but is it still any good?

A friend of mine has it, and I had the chance to play the first level and a half, and I must say, the graphics and sound are all very good, but the controls really take some getting used to.
Basically, it's a third person view with a first person shooter's controls, which is very annoying when you run into a lot of enemies. Many of the moves and techniques she has are great for fighting people, but I suppose if you can adapt to that kind of engine fast enough, it could be a pretty good game.
For now, I'd say rent it first just try out the controls. If you can get past that and you like the game enough, then the actual purchase is up to you.

What system(s) does this game operate on? I'd be interested in renting it to see how it is. I only have a PS2, so if it doesn't have a version for it, I wont even bother looking further into it.
Sounds cool though!

It's on the PS2. We're reviewing it in our next issue. Outside of the wonky controls, Mokoto does about everything she can do in the TV series. However, good luck trying to find it at a BlockBuster, you'll need to look at another rental chain.

Thanks for the tip, The Frankman! Blockbuster, it figures, they never have anything. I think there is a place in the mall (what a drag) that carries it, who knows, but i'll find it somehow. Peace.

I'm not in a rush to buy this game (especially since i have yet to read any of the reviews, that may be my deciding factor whether or not to purchase this pup.) maybe down the line when the price drops to $19.99 (estimate: 2 months) Another Anime based game worth checking out would be Blood will tell (ALSO FOR PS2) the concept is from the father of Manga/Anime himself;Tezuka(san).where the protagonist has to defeat over 40 demons in order to accquire all his body parts which were taken from said demons. It's the best Anime videogame since Sword of the Beserk IMO.
