Just wondering if there is any anime that uses trance/techno and other music in that relative genre. By this i mean not as opening or ending, but as insert music. Also is there any anime that revolves around electronic music and stuff like that. I looked around about that, but I didn't find anything. I think it would be really good anime, but that just might be because i love trance music.

If your looking for an anime that uses techno music, then you can't go wrong with Eureka Seven. It's a pretty good series and it uses allot of techno (not the best techno out there, but techno non the less).

I watched most of eureka seven, forgot about the techno in it. The music is not bad, but I got bored of the story as it went on.

It's hard to think of shows with trance techno in them. Eureka Seven had some, and I got a kick out of the scene where our young hero starts rocking out at the underground rave. I agree that this show really went off the rails in the second half, and the techno component was basically a minor part of the plot and of the musical score.
Lain had a couple of scenes with techno music.
I don't recall any danceable music in Texhnolyze except for the OP. Same with Last Exile.
You think there'd be more shows, as it would be appropriate music for science fiction and shonen action shows. There may possibly be some trance/techno in Divergence Eve, S-Cry-Ed, Gantz, and .hack//SIGN, but I haven't watched any of these for ages so can't guarantee anything.

I know that Real Bout High School did have some in it. I know I have heard of other series as well but I can't seem to remember any at this moment other than that one.

Nobody mentioned GiTS:SAC yet?
Also, iirc, Kurozuka used some decent techno tunes.

Other than Lain, the two that come to mind are Bubblegum Crisis: 2040 (I've actually heard a couple tracks at some raves) and Boogiepop Phantom, which had an excellent compilation of random artist from all over Japan. Some were kind of crappy, but other tracks have become some of my faves as far as Non-Yoko Kanno anime tracks go.

Karas and the Appleseed movies have those kinds of sounds, might as well add Vexille as well.
Keep in mind house techno doesn't really mesh well with a lot in the visual medium outside the random club scenes and high intensity action scenes. Trance fairs much better, mostly because it strays often from the four by four beats that require so much patience from a house track. And forgive me, but when Paul Oakenfold makes an anime soundtrack and most of the tracks end up being breakbeats, I have a hard time calling it either house or trance, even though that is what he is famous for. That isn't any kind of jab at him or anything, it's probably better to produce a soundtrack the way he ends up doing. Being nit picky more than anything.
By the way, most tracks are going to end up being breakbeats(of some form), which kind of makes the limitations of house and trance the OP made kind of difficult to fill. Techno, technically will follow a four by four beat. Most are going to be breakbeats, bigbeats, minimal/ambient, drum and bass, and acid jazz.
Though I think the biggest restriction is I think the OP is looking for shows where the majority of tracks end up being some form of electronica. And while I can think of a lot of shows that use any number of the above genre, maybe a couple times throughout the entire show. It's more difficult to pinpoint a show where that seems to be the trend. Other than most of the ones mentioned already. But I am sure there are more and I will give it some thought.
