So you don't think that there is one all mighty creator or direcor or artists who is just like the very best? Or maybe a most infuential person of all time (in anime?)

Hm.. Can't say I believe in a divine being that's in charge of all the anime and manga ever created, but I'm sure there are several people that've had major influences on the genesis and progression of anime. However, not being much of a history buff, I can't say who really is and isn't if you want to get technical and go way back to the 40s and 50s.
I think there was a thread that talked about this, though I don't remember whether or not it got locked or just died out.
In any case, by today's standards, I'm sure Hayao Miyazaki, Yoshitoshi ABe, Yoshiyuki Tomino, and maybe Hideaki Anno are a few names you could mention (remember, by today's standards ).

I'm gussing that in order to be a "god" of somthing you must be one of the.....pioneeres... that ventured into a taboo or minority and made it popular. Or somthing olong those lines.
I dont know but anything really old and extremely impacting on the society of anime would probaly be the/a "god."
But, i have to agree with Tony K. That, at least, Miyazaki is one of the best.

Well, it would have to be Osuma Tezuka. He is pretty much "the creator."

All I know is that if Hideaki Anno was an Anime god he would be the god of destruction & death. I can totally imagine him sitting in a dark grotto in the Anime underworld plotting the torturous fate of his hated otaku fandom. The Fate of Destruction is also the Joy of Rebirth.
Osamu Tezuka on the other hand would prolly be the god of creation and the protector of the insects. That is why I don't think that Osamu was too fond of Blue gender.

Mobile Suit Gundam. It's the main antagonist, Char Aznable, whose nickname is "The Red Comet."

Buddhism, Shintoism, and most other non-christian religions have multiple gods, some have gods for everything.

Um, my reply was to show how pointless this thread is. You know, it's an example done with sarcasm?
You can't make the connection?
Did the all-mighty "manga" god Osuma Tezuka (which you seem to be obssess with) strike you with his arime idiom? Nevermind, you probably wouldn't get it.
