I've been looking for a bunch of the original broadcast mixes or TV SIZE as usually listed on the soundtracks. What i've been seeing is a lot of publishers have stopped doing this. Or am i just seeing things.

I don't know what's been on more recent soundtracks, since all those I legally own are domestic releases from at least two or three years ago, but if you're looking for TV-size versions of songs from shows you've watched, the best way to go might be to simply make them yourself. Just rip/record the audio from an episode's OP or ED, throw the resulting .wav file in an encoder of your choice, and presto! Instant song.

I think what you're referring to are the singles. The singles (for OP/ED) usually don't have the TV size tracks, but the complete soundtracks do. I realized that when I was browsing some soundtracks the other day.

Not all do. I was a little pissed when I realized that my Gurren Lagann and Lain OSTs didn't have their respective OPs and EDs. I was really hoping to get Boa's Duvet on CD too, since the album it's from (The Race of a Thousand Camels) seems to be so rare these days.

There are actually three soundtrack discs for Lain, two of which are virtually extinct (OST 2 and Cyberia remix), so OP/EDs may be on those.

Might be. I have OST1 and Cyberia, but didn't even know there was a second OST.

Gurren Lagann is one of those i've been looking for..
I guess because of slumping CD sales they can't keep putting out multiple CD's just to drive sales.

Does that include the one titled Bootleg?

Not sure if it's actually called Bootleg(!), but it's the one with a white cover with a black charcoal drawing of Lain.
