Andf I have to say i'm very impressed, 11 was just such a good episode, not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen up to 11 yet, but ooooh it was good.

If you haven't seen it yet you must go WATCH! the music, the characters, the plot, the fight scenes, i'm in love with its simplicity and how well put together it is, think its gonna be my favourite anime series to date.

Now excuse me whilst I go watch some more

January 11 is late? Shocked Arrow Razz

At any rate, I agree with how fun of a show this really is. I'm really excited that the DVD is going to have a Japanese DTS track too. I just wish the box came with the OST instead of a bandana... Anime cry

Think of it this, way if they added the OST, the price would of been like 45 or 50 dollar. Well u can just add the OST for 10 buck at DDD.

You can wear it with the Gokusen Jacket and the GTO t-shirt.
I'm pretty sure the Bandana is going to be made with cheap faberic.

Oh yea, there's an awesome trailer of champloo on thier site.

It's pretty good, can't wait till it's relased with 5.1 English and 5.1 DTS Japanese.

Well I didn't want to stir anything up or try to promote fansubs etc. it just takes ages for new anime to come out in the UK if at all sometimes so I get impatient and well...

I fully intend to buy the DVD when it comes out, much rather watch it on TV than on my computer

So January 11th? any specifics on the DVD? like how many episodes per disk? I wouldn't like to pay six lots of £20 for individual DVDs, whens the next lot of episodes coming out? (17-26)

Edit: Oh yeah and sorry Geneon I promise i'll buy the DVD :D

"Japanese" as in Japanese language, and "DTS" as in:

Short for Digital Theater System. DTS works with the same channel configuration as Dolby Digital. The main difference being a higher bit rate in DTS, which gives this system potential for an even higher sound quality.

I think it's supposed to be around four episodes a disc; Geneon's original announcement was for 7 DVDs. Whatever. I'd still be buying them if it was two episodes per, like in Japan.

Next lot of episodes starts airing in Japan on January 22. About time!

(And, you're completely right--10 and 11 are great. Wait til you see 13 and 14....Whoo. Smile
