I was wondering if anybody knows of sites that sell DVD's for a discounted price.
I already know about deepdiscountdvd.com but they don't carry all the dvd's that I want. Namely the first GTO box set. I was hoping you people could help me find a place that sell this and other stuff for about the same price as ddd. THANKS. |

You can actually pay less at dvdpacific.com provided you buy enough. (they charge shipping)
Rightstuf.com has VERY good weekly specials, but their regular sales rarely bring the price below DDD. (unless you have the member's discount) Neither of those seem to have the 1st GTO box though. |

Half.com does have it and it's only 40 bucks.
But is it the legit tokyopop release or is it bootleg. It's been my experience that if a deal looks to good to be true it most likely is. Can someone please help and tell me if it is the legit. And thanks Tony K. THANKS. |

Half.com version is a bootleg. The seller said "there's all 43 episode on 5 DVD". Only the first 20 or so episode on the offical one. Actually all the seller are selling bootlegged version. They're jsut packages really well that people can't tell it's unauthorized. |

Better to just place the order on Deep Discount. They have it listed for 24 dollar, but it's out of stock. I place my order and once they come in stock, they'll ship it. Also you get a GTO TShirt with the box. |

It depends. It usually takes a week or two from my own experience with backorders, but it also kind of depends on which DVD it is. The longest I've waited for a backorder was... three weeks, I think. |

I found this on the ddd site and was awestruck.
GTO box set 1 If this is the GTO box set 1 why does it cost so little. Everywhere else I look it costs $100. This does not look right. Can one of you people tell me if this is the real 5-disc DVD GTO box set 1 or if it is just the box with the first DVD in it. THANKS.[/url] |

Yes.., the UPC checks out in comparison to other sites, and Price Grabber has it listed as being the first whole box set as well. I wished I'd seen this earlier (I just spent $80 on some Limited Edition Geneon starter DVDs instead)...
