what do you think would be good as an anime? be it a book, Movie, series, comic book, Video Game, whatever. my choices: Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest(Book), X-Men(Comic Book), Alice(VG) and others that I can't think of right now. |

Yin Shi Nan Nu (Eat Drink Man Woman)
This is director Ang Lee's best film (too bad it goes unnoticed in the Western Hemisphere), not Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It's a movie about a aging chef who has lost his sense of taste and how he deals with his three adult daughters. It's a fantastic film, and I would love to see Studio Ghibli pick it up. |

I'm going to get double nerd-points for this one, but I've always wanted to see Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman's first six Dragonlance books made into an OVA, a la Record of Lodoss War. Being twice as long as Lord of the Rings, it's really the only feasible way the story could be done any justice.

actually, it was I who wrote that ^ she was just signed in, grr grr.
Although, a lord of the rings anime would be cool...but it'd just have to be the movies...yeah. |
