I'm ok with this. A movie will fit a bit better with how story arc based the show is.
but gotta wonder, are they going to cover novel 4 with the movie or do an original arc like the anime did for the last 6 eps. |

I was hoping for a second season but I guess a film is fine too. This anime has a lot of excellent visuals and I am sure that the film will feature a truckload of them.

More Mouretsu Pirates is defintely a great news. I would have loved a second season, but I guess it remains a possibility if the movie does well.

The ending of the series wasn't that bad but nice to see some more (legal) piracy!

Loved the ending of the series! It definitely left room for more. I still have hopes for a 2nd season, even with the movie.

The announcement of the movie doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be another series sometime in the future. |
