I've been strapped for cash lately so charity and any other non-essential expenses have not made my list. But eternal gratitude is something I've always craved, so if I can itemize it as a deduction on my schedule A I will donate, anyone know if this counts as charity?

I'm no expert on tax laws but I highly doubt it. It's a subscription. You pay for a service from this website. You're not just doing it out of the goodness of your heart, you're doing it because there is something in it for you. Also the money isn't going towards a charitable cause. It's going to a business (again, in return for their providing a service). I don't really see how you could call it a charity.

Unless you work in a field where a subscription would tax-deductible - and I can't think of one - then no.

ANN is not a charity or NFP. The only possibility for you to deduct would be as a professional or business expense.
