Yes, and usually it is quite annoying, since I'm trying to get a break from anime in the first place.
Oh well, it just let's me know I have to cut back a bit.

GTO/KareKano/Strawberry Eggs-esque high school drama thing...happened a couple times...I keep waking up before the happy ending, though.
There was also one that sort of involved DBZ...but then it also involved Eddie Murphy, a T.rex, some film producers in lab coats, and a life-size plastic army man...

I had a semi Evangelion dream that took place in an alternate Evangelion universe. I think I was Shinji or someone like him; I was in a suicidal depression in the dream, so that much hadn't changed.
My Eva was red and had two optical lenses and outside her armour she was a quite beautiful girl in a yellow sundress, the same that Asuka wears I think.
I remember being very worried about the safety of my Eva and didn’t want her to be hurt, I think I was in love with her. Anywaste I demanded that my superiors provide proof for her safety after the destruction of the last angel. If they didn’t I would destroy the other two Eva’s and sit ideally by and watch the angels destroy the world until she and me were the only people left on earth.
Damn it! To have a dream that takes place in Evangelion and no Ayanami?!? Not even in my dreams can I catch a break.

Sounds like my dreams every night.
Always strange and non-sensical, I mean.

Oops, you got me since that is mostly true.
I've had a few very real-feeling, serious dreams. Those are the scariest one's of all too.

Oh boy...
I think I only got 3 of those (or at least that is the number I remember) and all of them were DBZ. In the first one I met Piccolo who made me train my ass off on some desert (the training of Gohan thing). In the second one I was fighting Vegeta with a few Kamehamehas. In the third one I could fly and everything and went to the Kame House which was empty of course (the dream was a little creppy - like the whole planet was empty)..

I know I've had them... just wish I'd stop waking up before it gets good and actually remember them, I'm sure some were interesting
only one I can remember is flying one of the Veritech fighters when the zentraedi armada shows up on our doorstep

When I dream about anime, it's usually a dream of me watching anime on TV, trying to figure out what the title of the anime is. :p
Seriously.
I had a dream not more than a week ago, wherein I was watching TV and saw a part of the opening to an anime series. I was trying to guess what the show title was based on the first 5 seconds of the opening theme, and the sillouette of the main character on the screen.
The answer, as far as my dream was concerned, "All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku TV". :)
I'd had another one a few weeks ago, about what I can only describe as "Angelic Layer, but with the characters [and costumes] from Comic Party". I'd decided it was a new season of Comic Party before I woke up.
:p

I don't think I have ever had any anime dreams, but I did once have one loosely on the last two episodes of Cowboy Bebop

Dreamed I was in Macross once... looked out over my wings, saw the CF (cannon fodder) colors, and thought 'oh f*ck...' and then I woke up. Spared myself a grisly end, I'm sure...
edit: if my spellin' don't get me first

I had a battle Royale dream soon after reading the first volume. It was very realistic, and I woke up sick to my stomach from seeing all of the people die. That was one of the scariest dreams I've ever had, because even though it was loosely based off of BR, it had all the people from my school, and my own best friends dieing etc.

Nope never had an anime dream, I couldnt even begin to imagine where that would come from. My dreams are always blockbuster movie material for the most part though. Scifi/action of course only the most vivid/best I remember and write down the others I forget.
I did however have one that could have been close to a comic book. It was when I was reading Oriental heroes/Force of buddha's Palm comics. I was completely surrounded by enemy and I had to save some chick who was behind me, and the enemy crowded me in with swords.I was doing martial arts to back them off but it was doing no good more kept coming to cover for the next. Then I jumped up to hover over all other heads clap my hands together and emit this gigantic aura of light disolving them. The last thing I recall is their cries. Anyone care for sloppy joes?
