Bennett's gonna be so happy.

Maybe some Violence Jack, Devilman, Angel Cop, Genocyber, Apocalypse Zero, and BAOH next? There's gotta be hundreds of cheap old OVAs to bring back.

Well screw psychologists, because I am definitely buying this when it gets released! I've seen parts of the dub and it's so crazy, & Koike, that I can't not buy it. I'm also honestly curious about how the original Japanese audio sounded, since there aren't any videos of it anywhere.

I cannot wait for this to be out. I got to see one of the tapes a while ago, owning this on DVD will be great.

I only wish we could get the Manga out over here.

Good god, that promo poster makes it look like a cheesy 80's action movie.

Because it pretty much is. The anime equivalent, at least.

It also sports one of the most hilariously AWFUL English dubs of all time. Imagine a bunch of British actors trying desperately to pull off a Brooklyn accent, and toss in a bunch of profanities and racial/homophobic slurs as well as early 90's "hip" slang.

Pure magic, I tell you. Laughing

Although to be honest, I still think Sleepy's voice actor, Alan Wenger, did a genuinely good job. At least in my opinion.

I never thought I'd see the day!

Hopefully they'll also get Angel Cop and Cyber City Oedo 808. Those two had such hilarious dubs, and it WORKED.

Sweetness! I feel like I've been needing more "so bad it's good/hilarious" anime for my shelf, and I just saw the Cipher OVA, but there's no way that's coming to America (yes, the manga did, but that's not hilariously bad, it's quite good in fact. But the OVA made form it? No clue how that happened, but if you've got a half hour, head on over to youtube). I'm not big on actual comedy anime, but hilariously bad ones? Yes please! I think I still need Eiken and Art of Fighting for my shelf.

Though I think the fandom quite called them getting this one based on Facebook comments.

Oh man, I was hoping for this one when Discotek first started hinting at licensing a stinker.
