Do you mean watch first?

Memories and Melodies are two separate stories. They have some shared characters, but you don't really need to watch Memories before Melodies. For example, if you watch Memories first, you will be introduced to a couple characters that appear as side characters and these two in question are main characters in Melodies.

It's been a while since I watched Melodies, but if I recall correctly there are some elements in Memories that will feel incomplete until you watch Melodies (namely the priest's backstory), but because his and Yuuko's whole stories are not the focus of Memories, you can write them off as story elements that fit into Memories in their own right (without spoiling, they often pose questions to the characters that help drive the plot). That is to say, they're incomplete if looked at as their own side story, but they work fine as part of the package and I never felt like I was left missing anything that was really important to the focus of the show.

If you really mean which to watch fast I'd recommend watching Melodies fast because Memories is better and deserves your proper attention.

I don't know if I agree Memories is better, but it does have a happier ending, and that might be a good reason to view it last as well, even if they aired reverse of that.
