INTEREST: Anime on SFX Magazine Best SF/Film List

I guessed it would be Akira, Ghost in the Shell and the rest would be Ghibli and/or Miyazaki, and I was right. It's also a little disappointing to see that all the animated films on the list are from either japan or the u.s., with no other countries getting entries (not to mention that most of the u.s. entries are for CGI films rather than stopmotion or animation with the appearance of moving drawings *whether using cels or not*). I recognise that it's a general list and not an animation specific one, and some of the best examples of animated films that would fit within the parameters of their list are not available on DVD or Blu-ray in their original language with English subs or with an English dub, but it's still a little disappointing for me as an animation fan.
