I thought the first episode was awesome, and it definitely seems to be starting out strong in my opinion.

Just from the first episode so far, this is definitely promising. Would like to see how it plays out after the premiere.

I'll watch this series to see how it looks. I wasn't all that impressed with Transformers Prime, but that might have been more for the character/transformer designs than anything else. I loved both Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence and The Sky Crawlers, and I'd forgotten that POLYGON had worked on them.

Pretty good. I hated how the Legacy movie made Tron an afterthought, so this series is already starting out well ahead of the game.
One thing I want to see are the various games that existed in the first movie like the tanks and the speed racers and that weird ball thing where if it touched the ground it removed a section of the floor. Hopefully this series brings those concepts back! |

Cell shading, not a fan of the style, seems to think having a light cycle always running a line looks cooler than trying to get away without leading your persuers right to you, probably never saw Legacy to understand when that style of helmet does/doesn't form, and the plot turns completely mundane at the mid-point...
but not before spoiler[taking a huge, wet, steamer all over canon] within the first minute. Lovely, think I'll pass. Though I will grant that the General has a neat toy. |

Looks interesting design-wise. Didn't know that Disney had this in the works.
