Option to remove interest or news article from main feed

I don't know if this is already an option (if it is how do I do it?) but I think it would be cool if we could filter out the feed on the main page to just show news or interest articles. So if I wasn't interested in interest articles I could just filter them out and only see the news articles.

Click on any Blue circle logo on the left to get all the news. Click on any red star logo to get all the interest articles, although you have you go a couple clicks to get the list of interest articles.

You can also get all press releases by choosing that link from the "news" tab up top.

I'm surprised they haven't added an "interests" link in that tab as well.
