Major disappointment in lack of 100% same voice actors/actresses. Especially Michelle Ruff..she fit Rita so well.

Familiar voices, all are good. I'm looking forward to it. I just hope people don't diss this thing just because it's not a Ghibli family movie.

Yeah, but Rita is only in for like 2 minutes total. If Yuri or Flynn were different, it would be really distracting as they and the twins do most the talking.

I've gotten used to the Japanese cast since I've been playing the PS3 version of the game, so I'll probably only watch the movie in English once.

Smile I look at it this way, too: at least we're getting the movie over here. We've yet to get the Tales of Symphonia OVA series nor did we get the Tales of Eternia series.

The lack of Liam O'Brien is disconcerting. The man should be in ALL THE THINGS.

amen to that. If anything, the lack of a Tales of Symphonia localization is probably the biggest issue right now, though Japan keeps stalling/dragging out the project. Here we are 5 years since the first OVA and still not done (though not necessarily a bad thing)

Well, the final two OVAs are coming out this year. And Funimation did say if the Vesperia movie sells well, they'll license the Symphonia OVAs.

More than likely if Funi does license it, it'll be in one complete set.

Oh come on, was it REALLY impossible to get Michelle Ruff and Hynden Walch after you got everyone else?

*sigh* Oh well, Troy and Sam make me happy at least. No one else could play Yuri Lowell IMHO anyways. Yuri and Flynn are the focus anyways. Should still be very enjoyable.

...Of course, not as enjoyable as a localization of Tales of Vesperia (Complete) on the PS3.

Yeah, I wish they had released the PS3 version of the game also. I have a crappy used xbox 360 just for that reason, lol.

Estelle was done by Danielle Judovits, not Hynden Walch, and they didn't get "everyone else", only Troy Baker and Sam Riegel. No D.C. Douglas as Alexei, not even the (arguably) second-best performance in the game, Joe J. Thomas as Raven. I know a lot of people will write it off by saying they have "small roles", but it's still lazy and lame.

Honestly, as long as they've shown the effort (in this case by geting Troy and Sam for the lead roles) I don't care.

That's all I ask, really.

Besides, there will be much bitching when ADV fluff the casting for Persona 4 up.

A little bummed the entire original English cast isn't back, but as long as Troy and Sam are in, I'm good.
