That header's a bit misleading. You should say new "short film", because people will mistake it for a full-length movie.

There is the anime short "Hi-no-Youjin," but it is part of a larger Short Peace anime anthology based on Otomo's works. The staff plan to screen Short Peace in theaters, just like another Otomo anthology, Memories.

Very intrigued by this Otomo anthology anime thing. I really liked Memories.

It's nice to see him working on stories again. I liked Memories and his contribution to Neo-Tokyo a lot. This seems like a thematic change for him, but he seems at home in anthologies of shorts. I look forward to more details as to the creative teams for the other shorts. It'd be great if there could be at least one really great success like "Magnetic Rose".
