This year we have: Panels and Workshops: Whether its learning how to make weapon props or hosting a mock Hetalia World Summit, Otakufest will have multiple panels running all day by the fans, for the fans. If you are interested in running a panel at our convention, reach us at [email protected] Anime Screenings: Between major events, AMVs and anime movies (Miyazaki films, Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, etc) will be played in the auditorium for your viewing pleasure AMV contest Do you want your work to be seen by other attendees? This is a great way to do so! We will host an AMV contest before the masquerade, with prizes for the winners. For more information or submission of your work, contact us at [email protected] Masquerade If you have been to an anime convention before, you may remember there being a masquerade! One of the main events of our con, the masquerade allows attendees to have their skits and costumes judged. Prizes will be awarded to the winners selected by the judges. Otakufest brings in dozens of artists and merchandise dealers every con interested in selling their work to the attendees. If you are interested in selling anime merchandise, contact us at [email protected]. Space is going fast so reach us soon! Karaoke: Want to sing along to the Pokemon theme song?
