  1. I'm sure everyone feels their favorite show can and should be more popular.
  2. It's hard to see how an anime could realistically get more attention than being on Netflix. Consider that Netflix has over 40 million US subscribers (by comparison, Crunchyroll has 0.25 million). Having Netflix sing Sidonia's praises as a Netflix exclusive is probably the best thing that could ever happen to it.

The problem with Netflix is their obsession with bingewatching - they're not putting up the series at all until the fourth. The series may or may not stir up interest in the mainstream crowd, but with almost everything simulcasted these days, you're definitely going to see a number of people not check it out because they can't be bothered to download fansubs and will be busy with the next season's shows by the time Netflix puts it up,
