Great cartoons! But what's this about a 'TV edit' of Black Lagoon? While I know there were a few bleeps in the early episodes, lately it's been noticeably unedited. I'm still surprised G4 gets away with airing it at 8:30pm, but I guess they can get away with it when no one's watching. Wink

The drawings make the column even more funny than usual. The Bleach and One Piece ones are definitely my favorites though Anime hyper. And since it hasn't been mentioned yet, Code Geass premieres Saturday, April 26th at... 1:30 AM?! Shocked

I love the One piece punny. "I.O.U. one ONE PIECE" priceless! That'd probably happen, too. Laughing

Time for AS to adjust it's anime block, something it hasn't done in a long time.

I remember them going almost two years without any new anime series, back in 2003 all of the Pinoeer anime on thier block lasped. Because of this, Lupin III, Outlaw Star, and Pilot Candidate are no longer shown.

I still can't believe they decided to stop doingt business with ADV after Evangelion. See what happens when you reject ADV? G4 is learning that the hard way.

Speaking of IFC's Speed Grapler and Witchblade I won't be at home, i'll be at AnimeMatsuri2008 so i'll record them on my DVD RAM(I bypassed Funimation's NEW strict copyright policy.)

As for Speed Grapler, it's got quite alot of shock value, and I think that's what it banks onspoiler[Did I just see a girl preform felliatio on another one?!]

Can really tell if it will catch on or not.

Does ADV really need CN's help? They have their own network, you know.
Anyway, I've always wondered something--why doesn't Disney ever play any of their Miyazaki titles on Toon Disney? After all, they own that network, and it'd make perfect sense. Especially with all that stuff that passes for entertainment on that channel.

Funny, I remember hearing they have axed the linear channel. (http://www.theanimenetwork.com/24-7-schedule.php)

It's just as well he missed Blood+ ... defintely among my least favorite episodes *still steaming*

What I'm curious about is why Serge is up without a pic ... my bet is they felt the flaming turd was too lifelike.

Two corrections to the picutres:
+Guns are not hygine blasters, they are radios.
+The end of One Piece is not an IOU, the note actually reads "You couldn't have reached this point without a crew of dependable friends, and that is the greatest treasure of them all." At which point we will all projectile vomit, follwed by an extended session of hurling insults amd heavy objeects at our televisions. Sadly the anime market is not large enough for the increase in new TV sales to register on the retail tracking lists.

Yeah, I like it! Smile

Sci-fi is showing Street Fighter Alpha this week instead of the normal Tactics/Noien on Ani-Monday.

What will replace Blood+ before Code Geass first airs? Will they air a few of the old episodes of Blood+, but then just cut it off? Hmm...

It'll be Cowboy Bebop episodes 12,13,25, and 26.
