Reading these blogs really makes me want to go to Japan. The Tourism Board should be giving you money for writing them.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I'm getting more excited for my trip to Japan in December and Hope things for sharing your nervousness going a trip for the first time out of the country. I'm kind of nervous too, because I have never traveled out of the country before.

Thanks for the pictures. Pity you didn't get one of the Gamers building close to the subway. They usually have multi-story anime ads.
Enjoy your visit.

I went on a pair of tours this summer with Evan and PacSet and had a great time. For anyone thinking of going with PacSet, I highly recommend them. They were very helpful and accommodating when planning my trip

Looking forward to the next episode.
I so want to go there too. Would need new suitcases I guess, and consider overweight for the luggage when traveling home...

^ Or you could just buy a bag. I did that on my first trip there, where I won far too many goodies in the UFO machines. Fortunately, Daiso has you covered for pretty much everything.
Asakusa is one of my more favorite areas to stay at while in Tokyo. I'm a big temple person, although I try to avoid the more ostentatious Buddhist temples in lieu of the Shinto ones.
I hope you guys stayed in a ryokan at least once while you were there, especially one of the high end ryokans. It's totally worth it.

I want that Shirotan plushie. But my mom won't let me buy anymore stuffed animals.
I'd love to go to Japan someday, but as of now, I can't.
