God, that looks about as worse....okay, about as worse as a half-assed cosplayer. But not as worse as fat cosplayers.

It looks like my previous comment was deleted; I don't know why, but maybe someone thought it wasn't substantial enough? If so, I apologize, the intent of it was to convey my dismay that a guy who a.) hated an obviously well-crafted Patlabor cosplay, and b.) would diminish the credibility of mecha as opposed to automobiles would (presumably) enter a contest to win a Patlabor DVD.

Of course, if it was just some kind of ludicrous sarcasm, then I apologize.

Lionel Davis should've won, I mean Gundam figurines are fine, but they're nothing compared to an NES and SNES

What? I got a ton of entries where people just posed with an old NES or a gameboy. Walk into a thrift store and you can get an NES. Old, obscure anime merch is much harder to get.

Also, Lionel Davis did win. All three of those guys won the box set.

Harley didn't seem quite nerdy enough. It looked like he just took his old junk out of his basement and unpacked it for the photo shoot.

Why is saying he's "not nerdy enough" a bad thing?

YAY!~

I'm the biggest nerd!

Both the other winners have some awesome stuff too, man. The second guy with that prize cel of Amuro and Lalah... The last entrant has Orange Road LASERDISCS! Laserdiscs are the key, but I was kind of too poor to buy them at the point when they were released! Alas!

One day, I'll have those things! ONE DAY!

(Congrats, guys.)

You can get them now. i got them cheap from Animeigo. After my first box was damaged, i ordered the second one and when i go it, they sent me the first one half off so i got both sets for $60.
