Ya'll are getting off track. The immediate issue is / was new forum rules and specifics about how they can be crafted and exercised to be effective. It's been established policing outside of ANN is neither viable nor even seriously proposed by most at this point, so something to move on from at this point

So in response to all this, we've completely overhauled the forum rules. Here's a link to the new rules:
