This is the most expensive set of anime I have ever seen. |

New Thought, watch one of these go for $3K and the AX Charity Auction this yer.
If I was a big Tenchi fan (and had the money to spare I'd gladly spend the $794 to get this, for a collector, the package contents are well worth $794. Fortunately for me, I only mildly like Tenchi Muyo. |

I'm not sure I could justify the $800 on this set. It is an awesome set with some very cool extras, but $800 is a lot to spend on one anime set.
Then again, if Rightstuf offered the R2 Fist of The North Star set with similar extras, I would probably get it |

WOW! That is some deal. Mabye Craeyst will go for it? If I had the money, I know I would. Sheesh!
Maybe I could trade that YYH card for it. |

Damn, all of that sounds awful nice...
But I think only the very-hardcore Tenchi-Muyo fans will go for it. But somehow I know in a few more years, they'll hand out the same thing again with the rest of the Tenchi Muyo franchise. |

I'd buy it, but I have most of it and it's R2.
It's really not that much more. If you were to buy just the DVDs alone it would be $544.24. I want that sweet box, though. |

R2's, especially those ones, rarely come along for THAT price.
Good deal though, just means I'd have to be more of a Tenchi Fan. |

Good eye. I was questioning whether I should buy it, and hadn't thought about the per-disc price.. 23 DVDs (+2 bonus) @ $50 each = $1150 (their quoted price)... but TRSI is selling it for $800... For $34 per DVD, it's a MASSIVE R2 steal. Well, I guess I don't need to buy any other R2 this year. Right? RIGHT?? |
