Sentai announced today that the director of the English dub will be Emily Neves:

This will be her first full-time directorial job, although she mentioned that she has done assistant directing before. |

I wouldn't say "unknown". She's developed a pretty good following as an actress among the Sentai and FUNimation crowd. Perhaps "untested" as a director would be a better term. |

If she drops honorifics, she would automatically be better than Foster and Ayres.

I couldn't care less if honorifics are used or omitted; I just hope the characters' first/last names don't get mixed up when full names are mentioned.

Hey guys... I just thought of something...
If ever Chuunibyou would be dubbed in English, I thought of some voice actors who would potentially be fit for some of the roles... Yuuta Togashi 3 choices: 1. Blake Shepard - voiced Liberta (La storia della Arcana Famiglia) 2. Austin Tindle - voiced Shu Ouma (Guilty Crown) 3. Clint Bickham - voiced Mochizo Oji (Tamako Market) Rikka Takanashi 2 choices: 1. Luci Christian - voiced Nagisa Furukawa (Clannad) 2. Monica Rial - voiced Tsugumi Sendou (Guilty Crown) Sanae Dekomori - Tiffany Grant (voiced Kudrayavdka Noumi, Little Busters) Makoto Isshiki - Greg Ayres (voiced Harley Sutton, Chrome Shelled Regios) Shinka Nibutani - Brittney Karbowski (voiced Himiko, BTOOOM!) Toka Takanashi - Carli Mosier (voiced Yuiko Kurugaya, Little Busters!) Kumin Tsuyuri - Karen Strassman (voiced Miyuki Takara, Lucky Star) ...and that's all I can think of. Any other suggestions? |
