This show...
Compared to other Key works, I don't find the humor as spot-on as in Angel Beats and Clannad nor do I find the characters as emotionally open. Still, there's a charm to it all and I'm ready for the shoe to drop. Anybody know how many episode this'll be? |

Actually a lot of people were hoping that it will have 50 episodes,since VN(who is pretty big) is really hard to adapt in 25 episodes. |

Yeah, personally I think it is impossible to make it fit into 25 episodes.
And it is said that Komari route will start from next episode spoiler[Which is weird IMHO, because in the original VN, there is no progress on each girl route, not after they had the baseball match] I think it should be at least 25 episodes for the first season spoiler[and 13 episodes for refrain] I think it shouldn't be longer than Clannad because it is like that in the VN. I read that Michiru Shimada the scriptwriter and series compositor of this anime stated that LB! anime needs at least 200 episodes. 200 or even 100 is exaggerated, I think. Honestly, I usually drop series which has more than 100 episode. |

I miss the bug-eyed Key designs, they're easier to care about when they begin to face their various existential crises/past demons. LB's just seem more typical, like any old VN's designs. I too hope it'll be a longer show, but I also hope the pacing is well balanced, 12 episodes of lighthearted club antics will wear thin if we don't get into the sob stories.

I didn't spot her, but somebody on MAL did: http://i.imgur.com/tzN00.png Episode 3 was pretty good. Kurugaya was fun as always though I did miss the spoiler[Yui-chan/Komari-max] scene. Also thought it was funny how Haruka just yoinks the dictionary instead of asking Riki. Next week will be Kud (and maybe Mio) intro as well as the start of the Komari route. Looking forward to it, though Kud is my personal least favorite Little Buster. |
