I was told this by a friend and had to look it up. She actually posted an image of 002 on her Instagram and claimed she was the inspiration for the pink hair. At first I would have just said it’s another harmless attempt at ‘yo what’s up fellow kids’, but Darling in the Franxx hasn’t exactly reached the mainstream status of “even non-anime fans know it” so she/someone had to go out of their way to show her.
Whatever the case, good for her! As long as it introduces the masses to more anime in a casual/fun way, I tend to not care who does it. |
