I'm sure they'll loosen up (at least on marijuana) if Japan Inc. starts lobbying government to at least loosen the grip on marijuana so that the likes of Toshiba and Panasonic can study it and make a case for medical marijuana.

Yeesh, I think the fact that she was doing cocaine is the worst part--it's not exactly a "safe" drug. I hope she can get the help she needs. :/

Yeah, kinda sad. Cocaine is serious drug use. Pity her co-workers who will suffer for her actions too.

It depends on the dosage as well as the drug, lets not forget that coca cola included cocaine back in the 19th century.

She had crack. Something definitely was not right with her. I'm not sure how some of you guys can just skirt it off and saying they were "too strict" about it.

I think we all agree that she has some personal problems that predated her career disintegration.

It is hard to feel really sorry for her, because she knew what would happen. It's like knowing fire will burn you, but you stick your hand in anyway.

It is understandable what the companies did. It happens over here too.
