To be clear, I was referring to the forum commentary, not the reviewer commentary. Based on how the public on this site has responded to titles that were edgy but not as much so as Redo (see Cross Ange), it would have been a moderation nightmare; all the trolls and fringe viewpoint types would have come out of the woodwork. Wouldn't have been an easy title to do reviewers for, either, since the content is so conceptually ugly, and I probably would have been the person doing those. (That was my last season doing ep reviews for ANN.) |
