I want to hug loli Napoleon.

I expected Vlad to be at least Yangire or look like one, she seems like she's came from a resort, and where's the blood, Vlad wasn't a vampire but blood would at least illustrate that she's a moefied version of a sadistic killer and then the cheery look she has would be better.

Oh jeez, China! I'd expect this from Japan, but you too?! Confused

China has to have Its Own Version of everything, but give it import.
Their moe-girls would be history (and conquest history, at that), not noodles or computers.

I gotta say though.... Kim Jong-un's.... kinda hot. Neutral

And...quite a bit slimmer than the real thing. Shocked

No mention of Cleopatra in the group shot, who, characteristically, is a babe.

Real-life Napoleon was just as small, nobody ever wanted to hug him. Laughing

Ironically, Adolf Hitler is actually brown-haired, but perhaps the blonde hair and blue eyes of his genderbend is a reference to his viewing them as "the perfect traits of the Aryans".

I can see this game receiving a huge backlash from certain parties if it goes famous or went noticed, since making a portrayal of some of the most hated human being to had ever walked the earth toward becoming an entity such as these might as well sparked the flame of dispute. If it stayed under then I guess it will not be receiving much criticism. The creator also wanna cash in on that moe fandom.

I have never seen a moe Hitler design make less sense than that one.

I think they could have gone without people like Hitler or Mao considering the atrocities they committed. This is not about PC per se but rather glorifying some of the most evil men ever.
Just because it may be free speech does not mean you should depict them. By this logic, should Americans make a game with a moe version of the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs? I don't think so.

Becareful what you ask for.....

Pretty sure they always add hitler just for the controversy. I doubt most people outside China would care about this, but add hitler and that becomes the focus and gets articles like this. (not sure how hitler is handled in terms of infamy in China)

Augusto Pinochet is probably too far removed from the framework of Asian cultural awareness for him to register with potential players. Aside from maybe Brazil they've never taken much of an interest in South American politics and dictatorships though god knows it's a haven for them. I swear at one point practically every Central and South American country was run by some strongman El Presidente for life dictator and too some extent many still are.

He was a man back then and there wasn't probably any emphasis on cuteness and stuff during the era, probably. Wink

I thought that was a misconecption and that he was actually pretty average height, just that he was surrounded by other larger-than-life figures and looked short by comparison.

I can say that one thing that bugs me is that there isn't some unifying art style that ties them together. It looks like each artist was given a character and asked to do whatever.

Back then the english unit of measurement was smaller than what France used, so 5'7" (Napoleon's actual height) ended being read as 5'2", and the old-timey newspapers and cartoonists went and had fun with that.
