Grats to Titan. I dig zombies so I really liked this title. I hope the next season is as interesting as the show's first. Still mad love for One Piece. That show is always no. 1 to me.

Ah, well done Attack on Titan! Its good to see a change in the rankings for once. I read both series and I enjoy them both, so either way I am pretty happy.

I personally feel that it isn't very surprising. While One Piece is good, I feel it isn't as good as people say. Its a very hard series to pick up, due to its length and how slow it can be. But don't kill me, I still adore it and it still entertains me, flaws and all.

I cant wait to see the full list. I doubt much will change between the other manga on the list..but still its interesting to know

Wow, impressive! Congrats to AoT; it's a great shounen series. And it's nice to see Magi in the top five as well! (^^)

Well congrats to AOT the success although it was multiple volumes of attack on titan against one op volume and the one volume still the highest selling single volume nonetheless congrats to both mangakas

Actually it was 2 attack on titan volume vs one Op volume. -_-

attack on titan volume 12 came out december, and attack on titan volume 13 came out in April, while one piece volume came out in march.

Wrong. The total is weighed from volume 12 and 13 and their respective limited editions along with people buying the previous volumes as explained in the article, OP only had one volume release during that span and the rest was elevated but the last few sales it had from previous volumes which gave it a boost for 5 years now everyone is caught up with it.

Congrats to Attack on Titan!

Nice to see a bit of variety on the top spot, it can only be good news for One Piece fans. With something to directly compete against Oda will really have step up his already high quality, so win-win for all the fans.

However, as a die hard OP fan I do think that AoT's success will be shorter lived. The style and plot of AoT lends itself to a less lengthy, compact story run and (if I'm honest) the artwork for AoT is either a bit weak or just a very acquired taste.
Indeed, I think it is undeniable that AoT owes its meteoric rise to fame to it's anime success rather than any great character design or plot device in the manga.

Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing where both series progress to and the AoT (Attack on Top-spot) should prove great for fans of both series.

LOL, neither Bleach nor Toriko are on the list of the top ten, and Naruto is only fourth.

~the times they are a-changin'~

Good on Hôzuki no Reitetsu for doing so well and getting into sixth place. I wouldn't have picked it as being a megahit but I suppose Hôzuki is too much of a stud for the ladies to resist.

Haikyuu!! is in 11th, with 2,249,431 copies sold, it is around 200k copies below to Nisekoi. So it isn't really behind it.

Yup, it isn't in the top10 yet this year (I mean)....but still, it really got a nice boost from the anime and only a bit below Nisekoi, so it's still a pretty impessive success for Haikyuu!! anyway!! Very Happy Thanks for the top 30 list Bigivel!!^^
Nice to see other titles in there too, like Yowapeda, One Punch Man, Kingdom, Ajin, KimiTodo, Chihayafuru, Nanatsu, Sakamoto, Tokyo Ghoul, etc....
