I am still looking forward to this project. I hope we will see Akira movie soon. Though sometimes it seems like I am the only person who actually thinks like that.

Well, it is already being transplanted to America, so yes, it won't strictly follow the original, but could still be as unbelievably cool as the original, maybe. |

lol! Look at how badly this adaptation is being handled. They should just give it to Christopher Nolan and be done with it. Or the Wachowski Brothers. Or Spielberg or Abrams. That's the best it'd get.
