Then go to http://www.akadot.com/article.php?a=200. It's either them or Good Charlotte.

Wow. They're right. Winning the MTV Viewer's Choice award *IS* a lot like winning the Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

It's better than Good Charlotte. But then, nails on chalkboard while a defenseless animal is being mercilessly gutted sounds better than Good Charlotte as well, so...not a hard feat to accomplish.

Oh c'mon, how could you not like whiny suburban punks who act like Mexicans from South Central LA sing about "rebellious stuff" like how their parents suck and being anti social inbetween appearences on TRL? But I'm not a big fan of LP either, and its just an MTV award, so I really don't think it means much. |

I am so glad I stopped listening to the radio a couple years back. It's really nice being blissfully unaware of what Good Charlotte sounds like, or the exciting new directions Linkin Park chose to explore.

The VMAs are a joke. I remember when they gave Sisqo the award for best hip hop song (or artist, or something along those lines). Hello, he's poppy R&B you corporate vampires. And screw Linkin Park. They are an embarassment to both rock and hip hop.

Well, I'll break it down for you: Good Charlotte = guys singing like girls Linkin Park = extra aghsty version of Limp Bizkit plus one really whiney singer |

I've heard that Good Charlotte makes The Offspring sound like The Stooges, and that's enough for me.

And they really do seem to take themselves seriously, almost to the point of self parody. I wasn't joking about them thinking they were Mexicans either. Its pretty pathetic. |

Good Charlotte: "Edgy" looks that will make your parents hate them but sugary sweet pop-sensibilities to sell millions of albums to the masses. No talent required.

Oh, but who would want to miss an episode of Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz or Performance Today on NPR?! |
