This is funny! It reminds me of my brother's friend who went to a costume party as Facebook (basically just a box over himself that said "Facebook" on it) and had everyone write on it like they were writing on his wall.

So why is it that the headline is some cosplayer cosplaying a computer game, and the World Cosplay Summit is only included as an afterword? I would have thought the World Cosplay Summit would have taken more precedence.

I was kind of wondering why this is newsworthy myself. "Cosplayer cosplays as popular media! More at 11." |

Again, this is not a news piece, it is in the interest section and indicated as such on the article list by the icon. If you wish to provide feedback about interest articles or news articles then please do so in the appropriate forum but leave the talkback thread for those who wish to discuss the content, rather than discuss the fact a non-news article is apparently not really news (in other news, train tracks are apparently not made for cars).

I saw a news report about LovePlus+ on NHK World, Imagine-Nation. I was gob smacked, and my teens were stunned. However I can see this selling overseas just as well, but when I asked my son if he wanted one for his birthday, he rolled his eyes and walked away mumbling something.

Loveplus+ is nothing like the future this blog suggested:
Joints and movement control: Honda (Asimo) Voice: Yamaha (Vocaloids) Body features: Orient Industry Sexual *ahem* organ: Tenga Character design and promotion: Konami (Loveplus) Okay, who needs 3D girlfriends now? |

I just link this news on Kotaku since a lot of people has lately talked about Love Plus. I also tweet this to Brian Ashcroft in case if he ever wants to write a article for his interest. The picture and the way they make the costume makes me laugh .

We all went OMG! when they showed men and boys going to a resort hotel, (not a "Love hotel", but a regular one) to have ""private weekends" with their DS. Apparently there is a function that shows the "girl" laying in her futon next to the real unoccupied futon laying next to him. If he placed the DS in just the right position it looked like she was there. My daughter said "no wonder their birth rate is over the cliff". The Hotelier admitted he was a bit sceptical about the whole idea, but soon changed his mind when his bookings sold out for the entire weekend, and these guys booked the rooms for two.
Oh! Oh! I just had a brainstorm for a live action movie based on this! LovePlus meets Video Girl Ai. Or LovePlus meets The Ring. |
