I think it's pretty cool that Jolie and Pitt took their kids to see those Ghibli movies. They're great family films, and I kind of wish I had watched them with my parents at some point as a family.

Does that mean if they break up I have a chance with Angelina Jolie?

Leo was a tad condescending, though:

Surprised Pitt and Jolie haven't been hired for any Ghibli dubs. Too expensive?

This would have been a lot more... well... I dunno.... NEWS if they had mentioned something other than Ghibli movies. Even the family dog here likes Miyazaki films (not dissing Ghibli, I love their films). Call me when they mention something a bit more obscure, like K-ON!

so just because they like studio ghibli films, I have to care what they think???? not
most people can agree that studio ghibli films are the films disney should be making, they are great for entire families to sit and watch,

Sounds like canned quotes to make them likable to Japanese audiences. Yeah, Miyazaki and that Ghibli move, OH and TOYS! Yeah, our kids love toys!

Liking Miyazaki doesn't make you an anime fan. The day an actor comes out and proclaims their love for Kodocha or Ah My Goddess and shows us pictures of their room dedicated to their gigantic DVD collection, I'll believe they're fans.

...Uh, this is under the Interest logo...so it's supposed to be considered "interesting" not considered "ground-breaking news" or anything like that. Loosen up, people.
Anyway. I think it's pretty cool that there are several Hollywood stars/starlettes that are interested in anime, albeit it's the common Miyazaki films over anything else. It kinda shows how anime can appeal to everyone and anyone.

Hm. :< I kind of figured from the start that this whole "weirdness movie circle" were into it.
Been hinted at quite a few times at interviews and panels. But regardless, massive kudos to Nolan and co. for making a movie I've been craving for a very long time to see now... Paprika was good...but not good enough to satisfy what Inception satisfied. :3

Don't get why that's new(s), but that's cool to hear.

It's not news, hence why it's in the interest feed and has the interest icon, instead of the news icon. It's basically an interesting tidbit, not news, just a sort of "oh hey, did you know..." kind of thing.

DiCrapio ruins everything.

Some of us feel that when movie stars try to "relate" to the common man, it makes them look like tools or posers sometimes.
