Definitely. It's one of my all time favorites. I wonder who has the rights now?

I would guess Mangle has the rights, since it was an old US Renditions license. So don't hold your breath for a US release.
The R2 version is really nice. It has the 3 OAVs and the Special Edtion edited version. I got it when it first came out, and it came with a making-of book, but I doubt you'd get that with it now.

I've been waiting over eight years for this awesome OVA series to get released, even longer for GunBuster OVAs. If Mangas got it well, I will justend up getting the raw JP version. I cannot tolerate how they either do a piss poor job or a good one like with Macross Plus and NS.

I didn't like Nagisa either. My fave was Iczer 2. Her intro was one of my all time favorites. In fact it wa because of the music that I bought the soundtracks.

Ah, yes - the ADV release. That one might actually come out on DVD sometime...
I've got all three on VHS. Hate to tell you this, but there's only one character common to all three shows, and it's Nagisa. (She gets a different hair colour and family name in each version, but it's still the same character.)

Oh you can still get it, you just need to find it on international auctions.

Good OVA series of that era. not as cool as Dangaio. and the dubbing was attrocious to say in the least. Hopefully Media blasters will release it in it's native language. (I can't count on Manga's english only B.S. re-releases.)
