So that's why Ep. 7 isn't out yet! Way to go, FUNi!

FUNi, you truly are awesome.

Thank you for not going after the blatant harem and fanservice shows, and instead giving us fans the more interesting stuff.

Does this mean FUNI plans on dubbing and releasing it on DVD too?

If so, I'd much rather wait. I've heard great things about Rainbow.

No, it's only a simulcast deal as of now.

Cool. Really wanted to watch this show but I try to avoid fansubs as much as I can. I'll definitely buy it if it comes out on bluray/dvd. This kind of show is right up my alley.

Well, they're going to air episode 8 around the same time episode 8 is shown in Japan...

So in the sense, it, and Crunchyroll's Giant Killing are considered simulcasts.

Yeah, they will simulcast the series going forward, and also will catch up the episodes from 1 as they get them subtitled. Those who have been watching it "by mysterious means" can just pick up the simulcast with the current episode, and those who catch the legit streams will be able to catch up to the current episode over the next couple of weeks.

How else would you suggest doing it when a production committee in Tokyo dithers on the decision for nearly two months into the season?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Funi who dithered, waiting to make sure it was a good show and didn't completely fall apart one or two episodes in. (For example, I'll bet they're quite happy now that they didn't pick up Senkou no NIGHT RAID based on the very pretty pre-release materials...)

This news makes me happy! I enjoyed the first episode and the few chapters I read. Never thought I'd see an official English streaming. Will be keeping up with this one for sure^^

Now if only someone would pick up Angel Beats, Working, and Arakawa Under the Bridge, and if Crunchy gets Bleach,I might actually wean off of fansubs...
