Just watched the first episode and want to commend Viz on their job with the subs. Unlike with what I saw in Honey & Clover, the names stated in the subs are the same as what is spoken out loud and the quality was quite nice for streaming.
I can't wait to rewatch this wonderful series via streaming and I hope everyone at least watches the first episode, as it's quite beautiful on its own. |

I have heard positive things about this series. Honestly, I'm not one to usually pick "sports" series just because they involve a particular sport. Yet, I recall hearing that this series does a tremendous job on character development - that baseball is the backdrop for the development to occur. I'm all for that - and for the streaming as well.

All you need to do is watch the first episode to see that baseball isn't the main focus of Cross Game.
