I am trying to Submit Chibi Vampire: The Novel and I cannot understand what I am doing wrong! Every time I hit submit I get 'Invalid format for Chibi Vampire: The Novel'
Title Chibi Vampire: The Novel In the box marked sources I put a.k.a. "Karin Zouketsuki" manga http://myanimelist.net/manga/388/Karin_Zouketsuki (Originally I put in Novel in place of Manga thinking maybe that will make it go through no, it still won't go through. I switched out the aka which is the Japanese title for the English title and it still refuses to go through! So what am I doing wrong? Is it the a.k.a.? Because that's the format it says do it in! 'To make it easier to validate your submission, write alternative titles as a.k.a. "title" in the Sources field.' |

First off, I don't believe that novels (light or not) are allowed in the encyclopedia. I know the Haruhi light novels doesn't have an entry-- so if that doesn't have one then nothing else will.
But for future reference, are you actually adding "title" in the first line? That seems like it could be the problem here. |

I assume the "The Novel" part is being flagged as an invalid format since we don't list novels.

But They should be and if you search for Novels it comes up with at least 2.
Vampire Hunter D (novel) manga#4883 S (novel) - Anime News Network manga#10360 So if these are listed why can't other Novels that are based on manga or animes be allowed as well? They should be listed as the novels have a few manga pictures here and there. At Least Kitchen Princess and Chibi Vampire Novels have pictures. |
