I'm expecting of an R3 though.. Though I already know there's this new Code Geass project with CC and another kid whom she helped with.

God, a man can dream. Sounds like it will be Code Geass without all the suck, which was pretty much the entire second season. |

Sounds interesting I wonder if its going to be a summer or fall series? I'm kinda hoping that there is a character that is similar to Rolo (I'm just asking to be bashed for saying that
 )

Yeah we've heard this one about the second season already thanks. Also 08th MS Team is over-promoted and needs to stop being mentioned as this bastion of mecha perfection already. Loved aspects of it myself, but there are other Gundam shows out there I prefer and I wish people would stop asking that every new mecha series try to be a clone of it or else be declared the suck. Especially since...you know this isn't Gundam. |

Well, we'll have to wait and see how this turns out. We'll obviously have to see it to see how good it is, and we have so little information about it, that we can't really even guess how good it will or won't be. But I have to confess that as much as love Code Geass, the idea of a side story doesn't exactly excite me - especially when it's put in an area where the main characters obviously aren't.
It doesn't really surprise me that this wasn't an R3 - given the ending of R2, I don't ever expect to see an R3 that's any kind of continuation of the show - but a side story which will almost certainly have totally different characters... Well, we'll have to wait and see, but I find it hard to be excited about this in spite of the fact that I absolutely love Code Geass. |

Spinoff or not i'm excited, now whether I watch it/enjoy it depends on the actual story. (I'm not gonna go all fangirl on it just because its Code Geass or in some way tied to it though i'm probably a tad already there. But only cause I liked the first one and hope this one'll be just as good) Still, I hope we get more info on it soon... some pics would be nice to see sometime too.
Does this mean its during the time of the original story line or is this something different entirely? And if it does, I take it we'll probably see a couple cameos of some of the other characters from the first 2 seasons? |

Of all the possible routes they could have taken this in, that's not too bad of an idea. On paper, at least, I'll be willing to give it a chance.
The rumor mill is saying a few things though. Apparently the director and writer for this are going to be Kazuki Akane and Shigeru Morita, respectively. I'm not very impressed by the would-be writer, to be honest, but the director has a very interesting record (Noein, Escaflowne, Birdy the Mighty Decode). We'll see how that goes, if true. Please take that with a grain of salt for the time being. Btw, people are also assuming this will be an OVA rather than a TV series.
Yes, because clearly the best propaganda involves making a foreigner lead around your military forces by the nose.

Is this before or after the original? I read another site that said it was based in 2017, I forget the dates of the original. |
