Hmm, I really loved the Kure-nai series and unfortunately from what I can see in this trailer, the OAD looks too goofy. I may be in the minority here, but I really really appreciated how the Kure-nai series tackled the complicated issue of Japanese traditionalism using the allegory with Murasaki and her family. I thought the second half of the series was surprisingly perceptive and hard-hitting for an anime without being gross or gratuitous. Beautiful soundtrack, too.
This OAD looks like kooky school fun time :/ I'm not sure how I feel about that. People have been saying that this new version is more accurate to the manga (which I haven't read), but in some cases I really believe that that isn't always the best course. Still going to hold off judgment, obviously. But as of right now I'm not particularly optimistic.

I really enjoyed the series, a new season would be good, but an OVA sounds good too.

Oh, hello cartoonish animation style without the gorgeous scenery porn that made me first fall in love with Kure-nai (which I would love to see licensed)!
Seriously, what the hell? Maybe this is "more true to the manga" or something, but I liked the first anime, even if the disparate parts didn't always gel. This looks moe-fied, big-boob-ified, and overall goofily mismatched with the "epic" music in the background. And where's the main male character and his ass-kicking powers in this trailer? I repeat, what the HELL?!?

I really need to check out 'Kure-nai'. I've heard a lot of positive feedback when it aired. After such shows as 'Dennou Coil', it's like another gem worth watching.
Occult Academy looks interesting as well. So I'll keep my eyes on this one as well.
Notice that 'Railgun' manages to pop up again.

well, we saw that Murasaki was outside of the Inner Sanctuary, so this certainly isn't related to the TV series, unless it takes place before the finale.

The manga portion of the anime story has a different ending (it's arguable which is better, I kinda preferred the way the manga went, it makes a pair of neighbor ladies appear much less helpless). The manga actually starts after the events of the anime and then does a flashback to that story before starting a new story with new characters (including Kirihiko, the blond girl, and Lucy, the one with the glasses). Looks like this video covers the story of chapter 22, but much longer (Murasaki and Kirihiko trying to find Shinkuro at school). They should have started with chapter 21 ([spoiler]thwarting a terrorist attack at a hotel[spoiler]).
