Holy Crap!! Looks like AX is shaping up to be a big one this year...not that it's ever not big...but I won't be able to go...and it's going to kill me more than ever this year
 .
Plus, what other VA can boast he's played everything from a Pokemon, to a creepy pedo in Loveless...to freakin' Kamina!? |

You're sort of stacking the deck throwing in Kamina because Konishi obviously is the only one doing that, but Shinichiro Miki has done a Pokemon (Lizardon), has done scads of BL including characters involved with fairly young lovers, & he's Lockon Stratos. I love Konishi's work, but he's still not really doing the full range someone like Yamaguchi or Morikawa who have been around awhile longer. He's still largely stuck in the older brother/protector roles. It's when they start doing villains with regularity that they get interesting That said, when I informed someone who loved Hetalia & has already purchased her Anime Expo tickets, she squealed very loudly. The major drawback to being a Comic-con regular attendee is they don't get Japanese VA's all that often. |
