Oh no, this is sad news indeed.. She did such great work on the Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba series too!

Now that's a damn shame. It'd be a damn shame no matter what, but she was so young!

I remember seeing her name from ages ago in this industry. It really is a terrible shame to lose her (and yes, so early too). May she rest in peace with our thanks for her contributions to the American anime/manga industry. Her work will continue to be appreciated by many!

Amy came back on to the Newtype USA translation staff a couple of months into my tenure as a translator there, although she had originally started out on NTUSA years before I joined the team. She was always a pleasure to work with. Amy was a capable and conscientious translator, and had an eye for detail that I always envied.
This is shocking, and she will be missed.

This is indeed very sad news, especially with her being so young. She translated some of my favorite ADV titles, and did an excellent job with them.
She also translated 3 of my all time favorite manga series. Her work on Full Metal Panic, Chrono Crusade and Yotsuba was truly exceptional.
My condolences to her friends and family.

This is sad. She was definitely one of the best translators in the US industry. FMP:F proves this.

My heart goes out to her friends and family. She did fabulous work, and it's a shame that she's gone. She was so young.
Rest in peace, Amy Forsyth.

What caused her death? I don't want to be crass here, but I'm curious to know.

I actually remember reading her name on the back of my manga... This is so sad! And she was incredibly young... 33 is an extremely young age to die.

Most of the manga she worked on were some on my list of
all-time favorites. Ms. Forsyth will be missed dearly; she was
an excellent translator, and it's a goddamn shame to see her
go at such a young age.
Rest in peace, Amy-san
