Actually $70 for 3 eps is a lot cheaper than what they used to charge.

Does shocked silence translate well on the internet? No? Well, that's what I felt after seeing the picture of the bag with "The Killers" on it. ... Then I burst out laughing. Thank you Japan.

The game release that you took a picture of the poster of is Dynasty Warriors: Fist of the North Star. It comes out this Thursday if I remember correctly.

Actually Chu Bra Blu Ray 1 costs 7875 yen, which right now would be 87 dollars.

Avatar was a big hit in Japan and one of the first movies they got in 3D. It's weird that they are kind of behind on this. (But does any Miyazaki movie apart from Mononke and Nausicaa have such a story?)

And there is a museum about bricks in Japan.

That was effin' hilarious! Although, I wouldn't have minded a pic or two of those ubiquitous Shibuya hussies.

I'm very envious. Becoming an anime addict has naturally embedded a strong desire to go see the Land of the Rising Sun myself.

Close--the otaku who gets his buddy to pose in said maid standee, then beats off to the photo. Good thing Justin said no, you perv. Wink

Another year of living a Japan trip vicariously through you guys. Very Happy Except I'd be oh-ing and aw-ing too much at everything to have such smartass comments toward everything I saw. Wink

Hey, that tobacco and salt museum could be cool, in an historical - educational sort of way. And beer, from a vending machine, no more needs to be said there.

Keep the photos and comments coming, Zac, we'll be here, waiting with baited breath!

Here's a rule of thumb for you: If you've thought about it being a fetish, it is a fetish.

Those creepy sex doll heads look like they're suffering from some brain damage. UH DURRR.

I like how the article followed some fashion along with anime related things. The blend of American and Japanese fashion is really appealing. I really want that "The Killers" thing, not as a statement but just because it looks quite sleek.

Remember rule 34. It applies to real-life in Japan.

Knowing Japan? Something 18 years or older only.

More pictures of food Zac!! The Megaman stuff wasn't enough! And that energy drink was awesome. I'll give you $10 if you bring me back an unopened one.

Also that Killers thing; is Death the drummer? Best international marketing ever. I love that band.

Actually this one is rule 36, 34 is for porn and 36 is for fetishes.

And that was actually the first thing I thought of when saw what Zac had written. And those otaku sex dolls, dear god, uncanny valley ahoy!
