Last Saturday, on ANN (AnimeNewsNetwork), I discovered that the TV anime version of Seikon no Qwaser is shrimped "Adults Only!" out because the release of director's cut version of the first episode is so "hentai". Normally, on the censored TV version by each episode, it never contains a sexual explicit content, never never...
The ecchi scenes are more soft, no nipples, no pants, i go to reclassified "Mature" like the manga version of Seikon no Qwaser.

Have you seen the first episode(censored) and the same episode(uncensored)?

The show is meant to be seen uncensored. Viewing the censored version is a lot of zooms, pans, and out of place shots that do not flow well. Making some of the action hard to follow.

I thought they were going to save the director's cut for DVD release, did that actually air?

Going to agree with the anime age rating. The anime and manga are somewhat different being that the anime is actually adding graphic content that wasn't in the manga.

See the (stickied) "IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CONTRIBUTORS" announcement for the link to the "Age Rating" thread.

Fixed; same rule applied to Ladies versus Butlers!, Omamori Himari, and Dance in the Vampire Bund as well. Any other winter 2010 title has similar situation?
