Alright, recently I bought Robot volume 5 for my brother, but I noticed an artist named "neon-vision"...
But their art looks EXACTLY like Houden Eizou's. Is this the same person? I've looked pretty much everywhere, but still I can't find any clues. Anyone know? Thank you! |

Yes, they are the same. Houdeneizou (放電映像) literally means "visual of electrical discharge;" neon lights, as well as all fluorescent lights, are based on vacuum discharge, thus "Neon-Vision" can be regarded as a translation of Houdeneizou.
Another Robot / Gelatin headache is 帝国少年, who had credits as "Teicoku Syounen" (non-standard direct transliteration), "Empire Boy," and "ImperialBoy" in different occasions. |
