Dear President of FUNimation,
I would do things that cannot be discussed on this forum for a Blu-ray release of FLCL.

I'm one of the few that's never been much for FLCL, but I'm happy for all the fans of it that they can find it easier now. At least it's anime today so people can't gripe about more live-action heh.

Very nice. I'm sure Blood- will be happy to see this since he's been praying for a rerelease every night before he puts on his Haruko-print pajamas. I already have the Madman release, but if Funi does something cool with it, I might double dip. If there's a Blu-Ray (since I recently acquired a player) I'll definitely bite twice. I do still hope a new show *cough*Tordadora*cough* will be mentioned as well in the next two days.

Well I'll be damned. Guess I will be double dipping after all. Anyone want an R4 release of FLCL?

You're in luck, then! The blog specifies a Blu-ray release. Here.

*plays Little Busters*

If they're doing the announcements in increasing order of awesomeness, I can only wonder what they're announcing tomorrow and Friday.

Well, this is good news. Now FLCL will actually be affordable, not to mention, available. I wonder if any of their other licenses will be rescues of other out of print and exceedingly expensive anime. Those are license rescues I can side with instantly.

According to their blog, it *is* coming out on blu-ray. So don't worry, you won't have to do any of those things. (except open your wallet)

edit: oops, neocloud already beat me to it. Wink

All I can think right now is about luffypirate85 who just picked up the old set. For a lot of money.

For myself however I wonder. Could this bring down the price of the original set? because unless Funi throws in a bunch of stuff I'm not really itnrested. Sure it'd be the easy way out but all the goodies the old one has are tempting.

Silly me. I thought Trigun was the highest profile title they could grab, but I was wrong. It's definitely an excellent pick for a rescue.

'Bout. Damn. Time. While I already own the series and see no need to double-dip, it was criminal that a series this well-known (thanks to Adult Swim) wasn't still in print. And hell, maybe it'll renew interest in the Pillows enough that we can finally get they can get signed to an American label...My Foot is one of the greatest records I've ever heard and it's killing me that they have 3 newer ones that I can't get for less than, like, $50.

Yeah, I was thinking that after the other poster mentioned Trigun. Aside from that, what, maybe the new Utena remaster?

Too bad they can't wrestle BVUSA titles away from BEUSA and Hamayonnaise. Gunbuster and Diebuster are still far too expensive for their own good.
